Great views, and plenty of pools. Food is less than ideal. Gym is from the 1900's. Everything is super rusty. It's 'open air' and open 4 hours daily only: 10am to12pm and 4pm to 6pm. Considering its super hot, its not ideal. Staff - hit and miss. Some really nice and some are very unhelpful. For example when i asked for a taxi to go to the next town which is an 8 minute ride away, I was only given one option which was to book a car through the Hotel at 73 Euros. Was told I could try and book my own taxi if i managed to get one - ie was discouraged nor given any help. The day after, I found out I could have taken the bus at Eur1.50 Fully inclusive means b'fast, lunch and dinner only essentially . The only other snacks are just croissants and available only in certain places , and doughy pizza at 6pm. There is no food shop close by - so can only buy extra food from property or be stuck with food of the restaurant. They offer 3 other restaurants - but its a mission to book them and to be accepted. Water - for some reason they do not like guests filling own bottle, instead have to waste paper cups each time.

So after arriving from A 24 hr travel to get there, we just wanted to get to our room which was a beautiful kingsize bed and view of the water….We were asked over and over if we wanted to see the junior suit. We said sure but was not told the price…when we saw our room originally we loved it… then she brought us to see the upgrade room and continued to say we can do it for 500 more… I told my husband something is up… it can’t be… I said no at first and she kept saying only 500 more and we said ok fine… we signed that it was 500 more for the up grade. We were tired and got in very late and were hungry so we wanted to begin our vacation. I in the back of my mind thought wow this is amazing but something is up. When we checked out we were slapped with a bill of DOUBLE THE AMOUNT WE ORIGINALLY HAD! So we told them we would have Never of upgraded in the first place but she told us 500 more. We went back and forth and even though after MUCH EMBARRASSMENT WE PAID 500 a night..1500more which we should have never accepted but at this point we had to settle up and needed to leave. The paper at the bottom we signed said small letters AMOUNT ONTOP OF…the price looked the same as the original with 500 more. VERY deceiving …We were taken advantage of. I should have filmed her saying over and over only 500 more. Also just should have stuck to my gut and said NO!

This hotel is amazing. I loved it so much I booked more nights and decided to cancel my next hotel. This hotel is extremely special , it’s unique , it’s boutique , the staff is so welcoming , the breakfast was great, the views are gorgeous, the walk to the town is close by , the pool area is beautiful , the grounds are meticulously maintained , the private beach is a huge plus, hotel guests get access to the reef beach club which is an OASIS! There is nothing like it in the area, we loved swimming in the pristine water with cool currents hugging your body, it’s the perfect way to spend a hot day in cefalu, they cater to you while you lounge on a comfortable seaside bed as the ocean breeze and views slowly melt your stress away.. you will Love this hotel, it’s an experience you won’t regret ..

Hotel was in great location for buses and train station. Room was clean and breakfast was good. Staff helpful.
