Best hotel highley recommend

The hotel is near a lot of underground shopping and restaurant areas. This can make navigation a bit tricky because it's not always clear if the place you are looking for is street level or below. The room was a decent size, but the beds were much closer that expected. Our room had three beds. There was a small walking space between the two larger beds. The smaller bed was touching a wall on one side and the larger bed on the other. There wasn't a lot of room for luggage, but the bathroom was a reasonable size.

A peaceful refuge in Kyoto. Incredible staff. Outstanding facilities...especially the breakfast. Central location near Kyoto train station. Reasonable price for this high quality of hotel.

The location was amazing. Buffett was way overpriced and food was cold. Our room was nice but there was very little privacy for the bathroom and there were three of us sharing the room. Also, our room had a foul smell that seemed to be coming from the carpet.

Love it! Clean hotel. Will back again.

breakfast is good but no washing machine for self service - not convenient!

A gloriously serene retreat in the heart of a busy Kyoto neighborhood. Particularly delightful feature is the lounge, where you can sip Japanese sake and look out on the nearby pagoda. Can't recommend highly enough.
