Honeymoon Island State Park Honeymoon Holidays

My first trip was excellent, but booking with Expedia for a second time was a total mistake. Expedia or Saddle Brooks have taken my money. I was triple charged for a reservation and stayed for four nights: September 2-6, 2026. I am not sure what's going on, but I do know, I am not able to reach anyone from Expedia concerning my payment that was immediately taken from my account effective September 6, 2026.

We go back every year my niece and I go for a auntie and niece week. Loved every minute a bit. Staff is wonderful. Hotel is beautiful and clean and the beach is right there.

It was a wonderful experience

I don't usually write reviews about my stays, however this hotel was exceptional. The staff was extremely attentive. They provided shuttle services to convenient places within a 2mile radius. They also surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne..but by far the best surprise was when we told them we were golfing they sent room service with chocolates in the shape of golf balls and a snack package with cookies water, protein bars and apples. We were overwhelmed! The complimentary vouchers for the river taxi was the cherry on top ..I will always recommend the Tampa Edition to everyone. They really raised the bar.

Location was perfect between downtown Tampa and the beaches. Good breakfast, staff attentive. Not so good: Should be a microwave in the room Carpet room 137 should be replaced for tile.

Big apartment near Tampa University with plenty of supermarkets around.
