I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Viva V Wyndham Samaná. Celebrating my birthday here was everything I had hoped for and more. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views, a relaxing atmosphere, excellent food, and a staff that truly makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The highlight of my experience was working with the amazing event coordinator, Federica Natale. From our very first conversation, Federica was professional, kind, organized, and incredibly attentive to every detail. She listened to my vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made sure every aspect of my birthday celebration was executed flawlessly. On the day of the event, everything came together perfectly. The décor was beautiful, the setup was elegant, and every detail reflected the care and dedication Federica put into making my celebration unforgettable. She went above and beyond to ensure that not only I, but all of my guests, had an incredible experience. I truly felt celebrated and cared for, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to mark such a special occasion. My family and friends are still talking about how wonderful everything was. The memories we made at Viva V Wyndham Samaná will stay with us forever. NOT 420 Friendly!! The pool temperature was disgustingly hot! I understand it’s July, but the pool water was as hot as the hot tub. The lagoon water had jellyfish. I’m familiar with other resorts and travel months and they have been cooler and refreshing! When you arrive you’re forced to make dinner reservations for your entire trip if you want to go to one of the restaurants. Because of this limitation we gave 4 stars in the hotel lobby kiosk. AND SOME OF THEM THEY HAVE KIDS AT THEM! The very next morning- they woke us up with a call asking how to get that 5th star?? The entertainment was so so. They did a disco night and none of the entertainment team knew how to dance it; however, they had the Dance Fever motion down. Spanish is the language. Very few people speak English.

The installations,the food, the beaches, the staff were incredible amazing and helpful good people. Unfortunately the rooms were so old and humidity , broken furniture, dust everywhere, bad conditions, telephone , tv , air conditioning not working even after repair, the towels were very very old and uncomfortable and looks like very dirty even after the laundry. We got updated and pay more and after 2 days We got better room. It is really very pitty the rooms conditions in general. I would like come back if the rooms conditions got better.

The Presidential Suite was absolutely spectacular—spacious, beautifully appointed, and offering what we believe is the best view in all of Santo Domingo. The luxurious amenities and elegant design made for an unforgettable experience. This was truly one of the finest hotel stays we’ve ever had.
