It’s true I booked through Expedia and took out the cheapest option for our stay. Not thinking my wife at 52 would suffer a heart attack. So unable to travel and not taking out insurance of which we would have. Done before we travelled. I contacted the 3 hotels I’d booked explaining the situation The first hotel in Vienna refunded even though they didn’t have to the second hotel in Munich offered to give credit for our stay on a future visit. This hotel responded with a direct NO nothing can be done to help it seemed bythe response they were quite pleased to get money for nothing. My wife is on the mend which is the important thing.
