This is a lovely boutique hotel - dog friendly, which I wish I’d known! - in a perfect location in the beautiful neighborhood of Ballsbridge. I needed a comfortable but affordable place w/in walking distance of the US Embassy for a very early appointment & the Pembroke was perfect & the room & breakfast were lovely. My only criticism is the skeleton staff. I arrived at 7:00 PM & it was right at the tail end of a downpour. I stopped on the street & put my hazards on, then dragged 2 of my 3 small bags up the 2 sets of stairs & was told the parking lot was full & I’d have to find street parking. There was only mention of free parking in the listing, so I didn’t realize it was “first come first serve”, I had to drive much further down the dark, busy street to find a place. When I got back to the hotel, the concierge told me I’d have to be out front before 7:00 to pay the street parking machine. Fortunately I was planning to be out that early already, but I would suggest that with no bellman or valet, the Pembroke should have some sort of parking permit with the city for guests who are shut out of the lot.

This hotel had everything, spacious, clean. We had a balcony with wonderful view. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Sheets not clean, 1st night was ok, 2nd night the sheets were not clean, There was no proper Fan, provided fan was not good.

The hotel is a relaxing and friendly place..The staff were amazing, they were very kind, especially when they found out we were there for a funeral. They made us feel welcomed and looked after. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
