9.4/10 Exceptional! (293 reviews)
Very nice location next to the chateau. The rooms are nice with a nice view. The food was disappointing. My lobster and avocado main course was some sliced lobster that was unseasoned, not even a bit of lemon or butter, on top a large dollop of plain avocado also unseasoned, topped with a bitter concoction of chickpea in an acidic sauce. The dish was bland and bitter at the same time and not enjoyable.
Breakfast was also ok, a large buffet but again unseasoned eggs and potatoes - would just a tiny bit of salt hurt? Seems like basic cooking skills you’d expect anywhere, let alone a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately worst food we’ve had the whole trip.
Stay for the rooms and location, not the food.
