Lake Maggiore Honeymoon Holidays

We were there for a wedding venue. Hotel is lovely although I would not say it’s particularly kid friendly. The beach is very small. Our room was beautiful. The food was quite good. We made a suggestion that they have a ideal list for people who want to spend two or three hours away from the hotel or the region for things to do

We had come back from Lake Como and prefer Stresa 100% mainly due to location of hotel. Central for ferries and restaurants. Breakfast was very good but mostly the staff. They were all professional and very responsive.

We stayed in the apartment which was amazing and only 2 years old. The main hotel was a 3 min walk. If your looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay this is it. The food at the hotel was great. A little gorgeous town was a 5 min walk away. We stayed on the little beach at the hotel and swam in the lake the entire time. Only issue I had was out of a 4 day stay the apartment was cleaned once. By cleaned I mean they swapped towels and did nothing else. The staff in the main hotel was extremely helpful and nice. If you’re looking for shopping I didn’t find anything. If your looking for beautiful views this is the place to stay!

The rooms are very dated. Bathroom very tiny and uncomfortable. No room service 24h also NO AC there was a thermostat but definitely not working we had a suite and one room and it didn’t work anywhere. But staff very friendly and helpful.

Stayed four nights with my 14-year old daughter. Amazing hotel in a picturesque location. Lots to do on and off property. Pool, spa, boat rides on the lake and exploring the islands. Great restaurants. Incredible staff who were always friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10.
