Western Sicily Honeymoon Holidays

We had booked a superior room but were assigned to a room in an outbuilding that didn’t have an elevator. The room and bathroom were plenty large but without a balcony and a window that faced into another building. The staff very kindly changed rooms for us.

As soon as you walk in you step back into the 80s. This place needs a facelift and everything else included ASAP. The rooms are ok, the beds are hard! Cold tile flooring everywhere. The ALL INCLUSIVE is the biggest rip off EVER! The food is complete garbage and they only serve pasta and fish so if you don’t eat that you are screwed. If you want something to drink you have to walk from where you are eating and grabbing food to across the hotels lobby and to the bar. The only alcoholic drinks are some cheap wines they have. There are no towels at the pool. Theres a train that takes you to a beautiful beach and honestly that was the only thing making us happy until it broke down and we had to walk back with our 3 yr old twins. The staff at the buffet will watch you like hawks and correct you if you do something they dont approve of. Sicilians are just a whole different breed, I swear. Almost no one here at the hotel speaks English.

One of the best hotels during our stay in western sicily. The spa is breathtaking, very well maintained and designed. The rooms are comfortable. The pool area is very tranquil and relaxing.

Excellent facilities and location. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only downside was the entertainment went on late at night.

I would like to start with saying that staff was amazing! It does lack of cleaning, there is evident black mold in rooms and some hallways. It is also very outdated. However, we promptly were given fresh linens and towels, toiletries. I would not recommend this for a family with young children, because of the layout and the large amount of smoke from locals and clients. Make this be your personal judgement, whether your family would be accepting of this or not. Breakfast is not included. There is a 10$ fee per person and perhaps a discount for children. I did not use the Spa, so I cannot comment on that.
