Bucklige Welt Honeymoon Holidays

We are on a multiweek tour through Europe and this was a lovely find. We recently stayed 4 nights.The hotel is tastefully decorated, well organized, and the staff was wonderful. It even smelled nice throughout the property. We did not try any of the amenities, so I cannot comment on those. Location wise, it is great. There are plenty of places to eat and do some quick shopping in the immediate area. It is very close to tram and bus stops, and the neighborhood felt clean and safe even after dark. Bonus for us, it had a min fridge. With a teen in the party, we have a tendency to have food and drink stashed everywhere:) If you want to be in the middle of the main tourist areas, this may not be the best location. However, most attractions are only a short tram or bus ride away. We reserved a Superior room and it was very spacious, with two twin beds. After a couple of smaller hotel stays elsewhere on this trip, the extra space was much appreciated. The room was very quiet only every once in a while heard people above us and I think that was actually housekeeping vacuuming. My only complaint is the shower/tub combination (see photo). The tub has a very high step in and an equally high step out. I am 5'8" and found it surprisingly awkward and a little concerning. My daughter is 5'2" and a teen, and felt the same way. Neither of us has mobility issues, but we both thought a fall could easily result in an injury. We woulf stay again and recommend to others!

Staff is excellent, especially Milena. A big “Thank you”to her. My arrival flight in Vienna was quite early in the morning, so the hotel room could not have been ready. Milena suggested to use the refreshment room. It made such a difference after a very long flight from Canada.

We had an amazing stay at the Ferienhotel Knollhof and wouldnt hesitate to stay again or recommend it! Lovely clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast, very friendly, helpful staff and the location is fantastic with a breathtaking view of the mountains!! Thank you for a wondeful experience in beautiful Schladming!

At the beginning of my stay, I had an issue initially but had it figured out with the staff. They were great and accommodating. Helpful too. The room, stay is great and in a good area to get to places.
