Clean room, the O’Donnells promotion, outdoor patio. Street noise was very noisy from early Sunday morning.

Comfortable,clean,handy to beach and a few cafes.

Nice and close to the city and easy to get around.

The pool is lovely and rooms are spacious. Great value!

I'd really not recommend staying here. The apartment was big, but also very dark, not particularly clean (a clump of someone else's hair was on my foot when we arrived, some shopping bags left over from the last guest), cobwebs etc, and its pretty old. The pool was good but it was not very warm - much colder than the resort we'd stayed at prior, and the spa does not count as a spa as it was not much warmer! Overall this is not a resort - it's older apartments with a pool. The reception is not really around in the weekends also.

Wonderful location! The apartment was spacious and clean! Staff was very easy to work with. We used the included car which made things simpler than dealing with rental companies. We would stay again!

Sometimes you just want to splurge a little on accommodation, so I went with a bit more upscale with Pullman Cairns International and selected a room with balcony and view of the bay. Room was clean and spacious, with a bathroom that had a bathtub and shower. A nice firm bed and plenty of flat surfaces to put your things. And with refrigerator too. Thank you to Larissa at the front desk for assigning me a great room that is quiet and comfortable that I didn't feel like going out (almost). Breakfast is buffet style and was $35AUD if you book it the day before, but it had many options. And well worth it if you want the convenience. Location is close to the pier (for Great Barrier Reef cruises, etc.), and within walking distance (10-20 minutes) to the night market, farmer's market and train station. Not to mention restaurants and stores nearby. Definitely worth a look for luxury and convenience.
