This is a fantastic find of a hotel with an old world feel ( the elegant furnishings) in a modern style setting . All staff were welcoming and very professional and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of food on offer. Definitely recommend a sea view room in order to enjoy the activity in this working harbour. Rooftop pool was lovely and not too crowded.

This hotel is in the middle of a largely residential area but the rest of the island is easily accessible via Uber/Bolt taxis at very reasonable prices. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was very good with a full choice available. It is worthwhile walking around the districts adjoining the property where there are several villages wth small bars and restaurants . We found the local people to be very friendly. Many of the buildings are very historic and beautiful.

It was generally okay. My biggest two complaints was the food and the lack of warning against other hotel attendees. Thankfully, we only opted for the breakfast option - not all inclusive - the breakfast was edible but nothing exciting. Dinner was not much better. Adding onto this, you’re not allowed to get your own food, there are staff at every food option waiting to serve you. Personally I didn’t like this as I think there’s joy in picking what you like and trying different things, it generally felt awkward. My other complaint is that during our stay there were constant summer camps there, which basically meant relaxing with 13 year olds (7-15 my guess) running around. While they weren’t a massive issue, on occasions they were loud, bothered other guests and got in trouble with the staff. I even spoke to one of the camp coordinators and she said she would hate it if she booked her holiday here. It would have been nice to have been made aware of this as me and my partner came to relax and they were just a nuisance. Overall the hotel is okay, lovely pool and sun loungers, coffee bar was affordable and the shop was useful. The room was also a standard level, very average. I can’t remember how much we payed ( 2 adults, 7 days ) but I would not pay more than ish £100 a night. Thankfully there is a lovely bakery next door which we got dinner from, and is a 20 min walk to the centre of the bay where we had a fantastic meal at Nine Lives. Take this as you will, hope this helps.

Lovely rooms at good value. Pool was beautiful and staff were friendly. Food and room service offering was extremely limited.

Fantastic see view. Great choice of wines in restaurant. Breakfast is fine. Nice walking area around. The only small issue is if you wish a sea view room, you have to accept the noise from beach toad (anyway not much disturbing if to close the balcony doors), but in this case you can choose a room with pool or city view. The staff is fine. In general good stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa! The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore Malta and enjoy everything the area has to offer. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!
