Very convenient location to walk around even at the night time

Mostly still good. Our 3rd time, and though quality is dropping, it’s still good. Good: Location is incredible, the best feature Staff is very nice Breakfast is nice. The pastries aren't what they used to be, but still decent Should improve: The bathroom was awkward. Unless you’re a contortionist, expect to struggle to get in the shower The pool at the spa is unusable. Filled with small children and rowdy teenagers all day. Not very zen. Hard to get bottles of water. Each time we asked the cleaning crew, we were told to ask the front desk Getting the “once a stay” discount is a challenge. I honestly gave up trying, and just paid the full price, as it felt like the restaurant staff was genuinely unaware if any discount deals

The rooms were spacious and very clean. Despite the hotel’s central location, it was very quiet, and almost everything was within a 5-minute walk. The only reasons I’m giving a slightly lower rating are that the shower had very little water pressure when using the shower hose, and the coffee in the room cost €2.50. The fridge also had water, juice, and snacks available for €2.50 each, which is understandable, but I think that coffee should be complimentary. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and really appreciated the cleanliness, spacious rooms, quiet atmosphere, and excellent location.

We truly enjoyed our staying in Pousada Alfama, this charming boutique hotel located right in walkable, the oldest, most atmospheric, vibrant and cultural districts. We are very impressed by this boutique hotel’s beauty, elegant design, warm inviting atmosphere, the cozy lovely garden, the healthy and delicious breakfast. Most of all we are very thankful to the exceptional, standout warm services we received. Staff members are ready to assist with any requests, whether it’s a bottle of my new found love liqueur in Portugal, or helping us navigate our way around the city. No words are adequately enough to express our heartfelt gratitude, especially to the marvellous, attentive manger Rita, the talented chef Joana, the lovely competent receptionist Caroline! And to all the other staff as well for delivering a personalized, intimate experience. Our visit in August in Lisbon is so so memorable and unforgettable!!
