"The location of the hotel is perfect, nestled between the historical sites for those wanting to learn a little more about Japan's history and the mall for avid shoppers. The weather in Sendai is beautiful in August...I was pleasantly surprised given this is one of the hottest month in Japan. Trees, thank goodness for this city of trees - bringing one closer to nature. Everywhere we walked, nature sounds were intense, so easy to forget this sound when one has spent too much time in the city. ...

"Check in was smooth and they had English translations at the ready so we were able to schedule our breakfast at our preferred time. The view from the balcony was outstanding. The sound of the river was peaceful. The shower/tub was comfortable with good water pressure. The room was clean and you're able to get extra pillows at the lobby as needed."

"Staff are very friendly and helpful whenever assistance is needed. Room is ordinary but it's generally clean and tidy. Breakfast is very nice with lots of food variety and much local produces are included. One down side of hotel is that it doesn't have under cover and secure parking with only limited numbers of street spaces available."
