We stayed for two nights to relax and recharge prior to a large family gathering. Casa Velas was perfect for our purpose. I wouldn't change anything.

Our first all inclusive vacation was amazing! No complaints whatsoever, all the staff were very helpful, spoke to us in either Spanish or English, the entire resort smelled good and clean. Good was amazingly good as well!

My experience was just okay. I was on the second floor in a corner unit. The unit above me had serious construction work being done. It was extremely loud and unpleasant. It lasted for the majority of my stay and I never felt relaxed. I get that things need to be fixed or renovated. It would be better to block the adjacent rooms to properly accommodate your guest. I was not happy with my stay. I did call the front desk and all they did was acknowledge that construction was being done and that it was to be between normal hours of the day.
