Well located hotel right beside Tower Bridge and 10mins from Tower Hill tube station. It was a nice hotel overall and didn't have anything to complain about. Only issue was, was the lack of aircon. We asked for a portable fan which did help but it still was very warm in the room.

Great experience all together; cooled rooms, clean, great breakfast and perfect location

Hotel was great. Conveniently located to Royal Mile and restaurants and shopping. Only complaint was that there was only one working elevator which was also used by staff so long waits at elevator. Once the second one is repaired that problem should be remedied.

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff but very tired bathroom and poor breakfast.

The ac in our room didn’t work and that seemed to be an issue throughout the hotel. I went down and told the front desk about and they said they had no more room to move us to but would give us 2 fans. After awhile, I called the front desk and they told me that they didn’t have anymore fans. A few minutes later someone from housekeeping came into our room without even knocking. Plugged up a fan that hardly put anything out and then left. I told the desk that I would like a refund and they told me that I’d have to contact Hotel.com and then they’d have to call them. I did and when they called, no one would answer the phone. So my refund is still apparently in limbo.

Heathrow airport is tough to get around. We were doing an overnight before returning to the US on a morning BA flight. The Sofitel is in the airport at Terminal 5. Just a walk to the gate. Trying to stay offsite just to save a few dollars vs. save in hassle was an easy choice. The hotel is excellent.

If it is hot do not stay here! And don’t expect any help from the staff
