Clean room but lacking wifi.

property was in a great area where you can drive to some beautiful areas

At dinner, the staff were literally running to provide service as quickly as they could, but they were seriously understaffed and one meal of 3 courses took 2hrs45min. Most of them remained very friendly, but some were obviously frustrated. This was in low season (May), so we wouldn't have wanted to see what happens when the guest number triples or quadruples! Another thing: the room fridge didn't work- but it was quickly replaced. The food: a few very good dishes, several much too heavy ones. In general, excellent amenities, beautiful site.

Very impressive property in a beautiful location. Highlight of our stay was everyone on the hotel staff who greeted us warmly upon arrival and were very attentive, friendly, and accommodating throughout. They also generously gave us a room upgrade and a complimentary bottle of wine. The pool, fitness center, and breakfast area were amenities we enjoyed. Our room was spacious and clean and comfortable. A big thank you to everyone at the hotel for the memorable stay.

On the website it said that the private beach was open starting May (no specified date) but we found out when we got here that it doesn’t open until after we leave (May 22). This was a major factor when we chose to book. We did go on a boat excursion and to a different beach the last two days there, so this closure was not solely based on weather. Very big let down. Otherwise, the place was clean and the staff were exceptional. In the area, It’s difficult to find shopping/food without spending a ton of money. A car is absolutely necessary unless you want to spend a ton on taxis.

If you have a car, and we did, it is a fantastic hotel. Friendly staff, great view, good parking.
