I had a delightful stay here. Staff are very attentive and provided excellent service. Perfect location for first time travellers and would definitely stay here again

I had a great stay at this hotel in Kyoto. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, and the entire hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. My only suggestion is regarding the restaurant. The entrée portions were surprisingly small for the price, and the flavors didn’t quite meet the standard I expected. I think the chef could improve both the portion sizes and the seasoning to make the dining experience match the high quality of the hotel. Other than that, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto.

The hotel is beautiful close to train station. The rooms were so spacious and the beds were pretty comfortable. One huge disappointment was the lack of laundry facilities as the Expedia website indicated. We had arrived from Shibuya and had planned to do laundry at Monterey Kyoto Hotel but this not possible. My husband and I had to walk 6-8 blocks int he pouring rain to do laundry at a coin laundry. That was a burden to me and my family as we had no clean clothes for the rest of our trip!

Our family of six spent a wonderful stay at the hotel in Osaka. Centrally located and close to so many things as well as the train station. Would certainly return and recommend. Just Llovely

Great clean room and very helpful staff, in a very central location easy walkable distance to everywhere in Kyoto while also easy access to all the transport to get around to all the sights

It's really uniquely located and has really great facilities and great staff, going above and beyond during that stay. We had a whole incident with my daughter'sphone being left behind in a car and a couple of staff members helped us locate the phone in a taxi room.
