(325 reviews) The W was excellent. The reserve is just breathtaking with its natural beauty. The beach access was another winner!! The sand and water were picture worthy. You can see iguanas and hear the holler monkeys from your balcony. We got the all inclusive package and sometimes that’s a gamble but the food was outstanding. The drinks were not watered down like a lot of establishments. We had excellent service from Robert, Kaylor, and Liz. We loved every minute of our stay. (1,004 reviews) We enjoyed our stay at Xandari Resort. The grounds are beautiful, with some hiking trails to a small waterfall. A nice view from the restaurant and from our hotel room. The hotel room was very spacious, with a sitting area in front of glass doors showcasing the view outside. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at their restaurant. The service was excellent. The breakfast and dinner were amazing. We did not enjoy the dish we chose for lunch; it compared poorly to the same dish we had in other parts of La Fortuna. The resort has a unique design, but it is in need of some updates. Even little things like trash cans that work when you press the pedal would be great; we had to actually touch the trash cans to open them. All the staff was friendly and attentive.
