Greeted by the very energetic hotel manager, even though he was busy checking in other guest and looking after the lodges as well, you cannot fault him and his enthusiasm.
Lovely boutique room, lacking air conditioning, after all it is Scotland. Lovely lake view and well maintained grounds and gardens.
Lovely breakfast and attentive staff.
Generally well maintained hotel but creaking floorboards can be disruptive later at night and noise may echo a little.

only complaints were water pressure was poor in the shower and it took a long time to get hot, but the room was clean comfortable and very nice. Breakfast was great
Other minor complaint was it was about a 10 minute walk into town.
Overall I would go back in a heartbeat
