"Lovely, spacious rooms and delightful staff. Dinner menu was fantastic and we took up the offer for packed lunches (sandwich, yoghurt, crisps and delicious rocky road) for our continuing NC500 journey which were excellent and very inexpensive. Loved the laid back atmosphere, we felt comfortable and at home. Definitely recommend! "

"The breakfast was excellent, i chose the Scottish Cooked Breakfast is was well cooked with quality ingredients. The other items fruit juice jams were also high quality. The bedroom was well decorated but perhaps a little on the small side. Our ensuite bathroom was freshly renovated and spotless. Fiona and Richard the hotel owners were excellent hosts. Drumbeg is a lovely location with sea and inland loch views."

"This pod is bigger than it looks we were over the moon. Unfortunately we were only staying one night . In the morning we had 8 deer in the field opposite our pod. Excellent welcome pack with milk and breakfast items plus 4 eggs. We wished we had been staying longer"

"A very clean and well presented homely property in the centre of this working fishing settlement . It is spacious and has everything you might need, if you haven’t the Spar shop is just across the road. Lovely Oldshawmore Beach, one of several in the area, is only a ten minute drive away and Kinlochbervie is well placed for exploring mountains inland, the dunes and enormous beach near Durness, points of interest like Smoo Caves or taking a ferry ride from Tarbet to Handa Island."

"House was nice and clean, stocked with some of the basics you like to find (salt& pepper, washing liquids etc). The hosts made contact and offered to light the fire for our arrival which we were grateful for having got rather wet in the morning. We were also able to do a load of laundry before continuing our road trip. The local was a bit of a hidden gem being in between the Lochs, the access by harbour was great and our boys really enjoyed having the place to themselves for a while. It was a very welcome stop"

"The location was purely breathtaking. The house was amazing, but a few issues that did crop up such as the cleanliness could have been better, wi-fi was 3mbps not very fast and the AGA was not working on arrival so had to wait for engineer to fix and once fixed it stopped working again in the last week and did not work for the remainder of our stay. But this does not stop me giving it 5 stars, you will be blown away by the beauty of the accommodation and area. Beach one way and stunning waterfall another. Kitchen is very well stocked. Sitting in the window seats just watching the beauty change from minute to minute was peaceful and enchanting. We have truly fallen in love with Scotland and this place in particular."

"The location of the house is great and the view of the bay is simply magical, especially in the sunshine.However, the cleanliness left something to be desired.In addition, some repairs were needed. There were windows that should not be opened. In the upstairs bedroom (the one with the shower), there was no hot water during the entire stay. At the end of the stay, the window in this bedroom no longer closed properly. "
