Jersey City Fishing Holidays

We travel annually to North Jersey and always stay at the Madison Hotel. It is clean, convenient and comfortable and has an excellent restaurant attached.

It was ok tub did t drain water pressure low frint desk not too friendly

Pillows were significantly flat! Sink needed repair. Hyatts skirt is showing a lot. Whoever we were next to coughed terribly all night.

Loved my stay. The room was clean and spacious.

On a road trip to visit NY, need a place with parking and easy to get to manhattan. Thus stayed here. Pretty convenient with one bus to manhattan and room is big.

No issues would stay again

This property was okay for a quick stay. The hotel is clearly outdated but it’s not the worst I’ve seen. Beds were comfy and running water was hot. Tub did take awhile to drain but once maintenance came, it worked fine. Ceiling in shower needs repairs. Fridge and microwave were clean. Overall it’s not a 5 star hotel but it’s okay. Pool was fine. Breakfast was basic sausage egg and waffles, option of making your own toast. Staff was polite.

Staff was unknowledgeable or unhelpful. We stayed for 2 nights and during a heatwave and for the first night, we had no AC. ONLY after 7 follow-ups by ME, we were able to change rooms and this caused a sleepless night and a waste of a day waiting to move and to cool off. I repeatedly asked to move rooms, even though unclean and insisted that they cleaning can be done after I moved in. I just needed a cool space. To work. To rest. And my family lost an entire day to this. I got a 50$ discount The breakfast is quite elaborate but the eggs are a disgusting water mix. There’s a man who stands there watching what every guest puts on their plate and ensures that you’re a paying guest (you have to show a voucher) and stands by the elevator to ensure no one is taking things to go. Convenient and clean location. Parking was easy.
