We chose the hotel for the reviews and the location near train station and cablecar stations. The junior suite was spacious, the balcony was small. There was construicton in front, but we still had a gorgeous view of the mountains. The hotel bar and the restaurant were excellent, as was the breakfast. Staff was great. The pools were nice -- for a swimmer like me a bit small. Sauna, seating terraces, all you expect. No complaints.

Pros: Great staff and service at checkin and checkout, roof top bar is cool, central location walkable to many attractions.
Cons: the property itself is not impressive, no grand lobby, small restaurant area, very small pool at the roof top advertised as a major attraction, limited breakfast buffet. If you ever stayed at a Ritz, Savoy, Four Seasons this hotel would be the least impressive one. Lastly, valet dung the trunk of my rental, not a big deal since I have full coverage but annoying to deal with the paper work.

We have traveled all over and always stay at 5 star hotels. This hotel was the best by far, the staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I can not say enough good things about the staff. We thank them so much for an amazing stay. We will be back next year. Highly recommended.
