Chiemgau Alps Fishing Holidays

Location is near the main railway station. Lots of younger men hanging around at night on the streets, don’t think I would book if I were a group of woman or single woman staying to be honest. Hotel was very good but bathroom was very compact. Room was cleaned daily which was great and it was not noisy considering there are two youth hostels nearby. I would book again.

Overall this was a very nice stay. Our room was spacious and very quaint with a nice little balcony. The hotel gave us a free bus pass for our stay. We were able to ride the bus to Salzburg and back without any problems. The breakfast buffet was good. Ramona at the front desk was very helpful when we arrived.

10/10. Kind and helpful staff. Got our room ready early so we could nap after our flight. Fantastic food. Breakfast buffet was extensive with so many fresh choices. Massage and spa services were excellent. Ski shuttle to main Kitzbuhel gondola available- but the walk was so easy and beautiful - we preferred walking. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

This was by far the most personalized stay we’ve ever had at a hotel. We were personally shown to the room and all amenities were explained. The amazing staff thought of every detail. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salzburg!

Absolutely loved this hotel and the location. Wonderful for families as well. Food was amazing, great views and helpful staff. Would love to return someday!

We had a wonderful stay for four nights at the Hyperion. It is a beautifully furnished and decorated hotel and our rooms were spacious and very well appointed. There was a coffee/ tea machine, fridge, safe, free minibar which was topped up daily and even chocolates every day! The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast, which was included in our package, was lovely, with lots of choice. The hotel location was perfect! Very close to Mirabel Gardens and a short, flat walk (about 10 minutes) across the river to the old town, where the main attractions are. Probably the best thing though, was the friendly and helpful staff, who went over and above to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible.

In every area, our stay exceeded our expectations. Definitely get the romantic dinner for two: most exquisite meal we've ever had. Each course was phenomenal. Spa facilities were world class with fantastic view of Alps. Skip the outdoor pool; it was freezing cold. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. After working 20 years in surgery, I have very high standards for cleanliness: A here. Highly recommend.

Location beyond perfect! Front desk: Austrian (chilly but efficient) Amenities: a refrigerator or minibar in room would be nice...otherwise perfect! Do not miss the graveyard directly behind the property.
