Bar, restaurant and petite dejeuner were necessary as there are few restaurants in the immediate area. The food in the restaurants was well prepared and servers attentive. Everyone working at the hotel was helpful and friendly. (54 reviews) MHL was exactly what we wanted for our first international, family trip. The entrance to the room was private and the room more like an Air BnB with the perk of cleaning services. This made our room feel like home away from home. The location was excellent with easy access to public transportation, a parking garage nearby, delicious cafes and restaurants all around us, and within walking distance to Old Lyon. Our host regularly checked in with us to if we needed anything, including information on local travel when we made a day trip south. We highly recommend staying at MHL and would stay again! (35 reviews) This is a brilliant hotel, located right next to the slopes in Tignes Le Lac. The service is outstanding and I must say the staff goes out of the way to help you and make you well comfortable. A special shout out to Sarah who was incredible throughout as well as the staff in the ski shop who were always on hand to help with the equipment and give insights on the slopes. All in all, would stay here again when we are back in Tignes. PS: Having fresh fruit juices available for breakfast is important and is something which should be an option especially when they are available in the bar later in the day. When I arrived to check in they were rude and told me that I have outdoor parking and it is €95\. They completely denied anything they said on the phone. The room is fine other than the easyJet style furnishings. Also some of the beds were not made, you had to put the duvet cover on yourself, hostel style. So odd. Other than that, it’s close to the gondola. It’s fine if you aren’t planning to spend much time there.
