The hotel was lovely and the staff were excellent. Our room was not ready, but the staff stored our luggage so we could take a planned winery tour (across the street!) and lunch. I highly recommend dinner at the restaurant - the food was excellent and the service attentive

I can’t recommend Le Chamois d’Or highly enough. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, every part of my stay exceeded my expectations. The warmth and genuine hospitality of the entire team made me feel welcome from the very beginning. Every member of staff was kind, attentive and sincerely invested in making sure I had a wonderful stay. The level of personal service is something you rarely experience anymore…it felt thoughtful, effortless, and completely genuine. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with charming Alpine character, comfortable rooms and breathtaking views of Mont Blanc that are simply unforgettable. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The food was exceptional. Each meal was beautifully prepared using fresh, high-quality ingredients and every breakfast and dinner was something to look forward to. The dining experience alone is worth the visit. What truly sets Le Chamois d’Or apart is the feeling it gives you. It’s not just a hotel…it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for. The staff create an atmosphere that is warm, welcoming and personal, making it incredibly difficult to leave. Thank you to everyone at Le Chamois d’Or for such an unforgettable stay. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like part of the family. I will absolutely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for an authentic, memorable experience in the French Alps.

The staff at Villa Maia are exceptional. Always kind and smiling, helpful and attentive. They made a wonderful stay truly exceptional. The room was delightful. We were on the second floor with has a partial view of the city due to the large trees outside the window. A third floor stay would have unobstructed views. The pool and spa are excellent.

Just renovated so they are working out a few kinks but lovely hotel and the views are incredible. Gym was a little sparse - my only complaint.

The staff were excellent. For a top dollar hotel it lacked that bit of luxury. Was a little disappointed to be allocated a room on the first floor as it didn't have the view the higher floors had.

Roof terrace was a mess - paint peeling, holes in tiles, air con feet smashed with plastic everywhere

Reception staff ask for deposit 400€ and promises send straight back when we move out. But when i give back keys, guy who check challet say all is good and clean, nothing to broken etc. He say - reception madam today are off but i see you paid deposit and all papers are there. Tommorow she come to work, and see papers, and send back your deposit. We are back already 3 days and we dzīvē till home 22 hr, i try to contact - send message- ask about deposit... but still noone not answer and i not recive back money. 4 days in challet cost me near to 700€ .. now i try contact my bank to recive back money
