East Austin Fishing Holidays

The noise in the room was unpleasant and dis not aid with getting restful sleep.

Not the properties fault, but there is some construction on nearby buildings. Valet parking is convenient but pricey. Ice machines are only on every other floor.

Had to move rooms because the AC couldn’t cool room. The second room wasn’t much better, as it never got below 72. Get better AC in the rooms, it’s Austin in July. Also, the rectangular toilets were super weird and hard to flush. The staff was lovely and did their best.

Love the buckhouse hotel group. All of their properties are great

The staff was very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing that was not perfect was earing in the restaurant. The food was good but the table and seats were dirty and we had to ask for salt and pepper and the salt we were given was so clumped it wouldn't come out. Other than thaf the stay was great and there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

We had a great stay here the first time about a month ago, this time was a little disappointing. Excluding the bartender Austin at Rules and Regs, and excluding the check in staff at the Gold Lounge, the service everywhere else was not great. The lobby bartenders/servers and the lady at Good Times was really not warm, welcoming or friendly at all. Almost like we were bothering them for being there. We also asked the concierge if they had some chips because they did the last time and she told me no but I could purchase snacks in my room. Minor thing but still off-putting. We had the complete opposite experience the first time we stayed here where the staff and service everywhere was excellent so just really a let down especially for the price point of a hotel like this. The property itself is beautiful and has great amenities and the gold experience is nice but we are reconsidering having this place as our go to Austin hotel.

Great location, especially since we were catching a show at ACL Live.
