Really pretty hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable (signature room 311 on 3rd floor. It had a nice seating area in a turret. Breakfast was quite good with lots of options. We only ate dinner in the bar not the fancy restaurant and the food was okay though a bit salty. we felt service was a bit haughty which was unexpected as everyone on our trip has been so welcoming. Maybe they just don't like Americans here as the front desk staff was dismissive on separate occasions. Even so, I would stay again.

The staff was very friendly. They went above and beyond for our stay. My kids had special gifts left just for them on their beds along with magical notes from fairies. You'll have to make a reservation for a restaurant to be able to go into the castle. Be sure to do this as the experience is well worth it!! Also, highly recommend the School of Falconry Hawk Walk. It was my 8yo's favorite thing we did in Ireland.

Parking out front of the castle was perfect. Great staff and warm environment. Wonder Michelin restaurant. Recommend soothe castle tour, incredible history!!

Very nice stay at Knockranny House, the Grande Deluxe Room Room we booked was huge, quiet and very comfortable. Great location, only a short walk from Westport town and gorgeous views over the town and Croagh Patrick. Lovely pool and sauna/ steam room to use during the stay
