Berwick-upon-Tweed Fishing Holidays

This is a nice hotel in a very busy area. My only complaint is the lack of A/C, which causes you to leave your window open in a very bustling and noisy area of town.

Beautiful rooms, service was excellent, lots of cosy places to sit in the main hotel. Room was too hot, we should have got the staff to look into it when we arrived. Was difficult to find seats in the spa as was busy.

Staff at breakfast entrance look as if she was treating me to a free breakfast. Hash browns were soggy on some days. And for god sake, pls change up the bf menu say every 2 days? Stayed for 6 nights, same breakfast every single morning. Egg station were not manned. When I requested for bedroom slippers, reception shared that my type of room booking did not include bedroom slippers. For god sake, how much can a pair of bedroom slippers cost? Nice to have complementary beverage in the room. Location while beside river tyne is troublesome to get to from train station.

I was only a 1 night stay (checked in 13June) to celebrate our post 23rd wedding anniversary. It was after work, just had a meal and a little walk by the river side. Went back to hotel and fell asleep. Lol… basically we only stayed in the hotel to sleep so tired.. The hotel is lovely and receptionist said our room was newly renovated. Can’t say much, all I know the hotel is lovely close to bar and restaurants.. We slept like a log.

Nice looking hotel with attentive staff in quiet location but still close to city centre. Breakfast good. Our room (in the attic) was too hot but we stayed during a heat wave. EV charger was ridiculously expensive but apparently they have plans to change provider. Relaxing short stay and will likely return.

I didn’t stay there so I want a full refund

There was a problem with a first room during first night in block 90. All night people were walking, yelling,floors were squicking, then at 3 am someone began dropping dumbbells on the floor ... But fortunately the hotel reception person switched us over to block 94 to the top floor and it was quiet and nice ,better shower room . Maybe the room needs extra clothe hangers , other than that we were satisfied and thanks to reception gentleman who allowed us to park for free in the form of compensation for the first night of no sleep.
