Shigi-Ikoma Skyline Cheap Holidays

The location of this hotel is great, and the lobby and breakfast were decent, but unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. When we first checked into our room, it was very old and had a strong, unpleasant smell. I asked the receptionist if we could upgrade to a suite, and he said that it would cost about $300 more. I agreed to pay the extra fee, and he gave me two room keys. However, when we went upstairs, we realized that it was not a suite at all. Instead, he had simply given us another regular room. Because we were traveling as a family, my husband and I ended up having to sleep separately, with one child in each room. By that point, we were completely exhausted from traveling, so we decided not to spend the night trying to resolve the issue with the hotel. Still, paying an additional $300 for an upgrade that wasn’t actually a suite was extremely disappointing. The location is convenient, and the lobby and breakfast were okay, but based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Convenient location because walkable to many places. Has washer/dryer. Multiple Convenient stores across or a few steps from hotel with money exchange ATM machine. Love blackout feature in the room. Has umbrellas in lobby for hotel guests on rant days.

Beautiful day at this hotel. Rooms were large and beautiful. Location was close to station and Shinbaiahi shopping street. Staff were wonderful. Special thanks to David at reception who helped with luggage forwarding, booking appointments and making phone calls to confirm opening hours for facilities we needed. Treat yourself and sty here!
