Barbagia Cheap Holidays

The hotel is very charming. The dining area is lovely. Breakfast was good-meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, pastries. The pool was nice. The rooms definitely leave something to be desired. They are very plain & just a room w a bed & tv & dresser. Nothing fancy but fine. The ac works nicely. And the bathroom is small but seemed recently updated. Plenty of parking. About a 10 min walk to beach with a couple of restaurants there. Paid parking at the beach that takes card. Overall we liked it and would stay again.

Hotel stefania was really nice it was clean ,close to the beach and everyone was so friendly and helpful, the one and only negative for us was that the bed was very firm , but that I feel is a very small negative.

Staff seemed functional but not particularly welcoming. Perhaps they felt it was the end of the season. Maybe they should fully function and then close rather than stay half open.

Location and beach was amazing. The room was clean and very nice, but the property was very dirty and some areas looks like a third world country. There is a wedding party that had a DJ with loudspeakers that went on until 2:30 in the morning. I at least would’ve expected them to have a 11 PM sound limit or something like that. The food was fine, but was only limited to one restaurant as the other ones needed to be booked ahead of time and the other two were closed for private events. There’s a hole in the fence and you can go to another restaurant at a different resort if you’re looking for different food options. I’m guessing this resort just needs more cleaning staff

Amazing hotel with a great staff. The location felt very secluded, which made it feel extra special. The pool is perfectly situated with amazing views. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again in the near future.

The Staff at this location are VERY good with attention to your needs. The Spa experience is clean and professional Massage and Sauna help with sound sleep.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff are so friendly and warm. Particular thanks to Alessio who helped us speak to the airport when our bags had been lost and Barbara and Damiano in the restaurant were so lovely and helped us learn some more Italian. The rooms are big, very clean, so cool and comfortable. The staff were fantastic and the food great. Buffet breakfast was fab, as was the buffet dinner. Lunch is a la carte and kind of expensive for lunch but Sardinia is quite expensive, so it’s all relative. There is a path from the hotel to the beach which is beautiful and some sun loungers and parasols reserved for Hotel Marana (you just need tickets from reception) there are some nice beach bars but seem to only open in the day. There is a restaurant open in the evenings, Marinella, which is beautiful but very expensive. We were about to order the lobster tagliatelle which said €35 on the menu, but it was €35 per 100g and weighed 800g so it would have been €280 each for a plate of pasta which is a bit out of budget, ha! The cheapest bottle on the wine list is €70, lovely, but just be aware! The hotel is peaceful and the other guests were all really nice and polite and considerate. Taxis are limited and so expensive. You can walk to Punta Marana to eat but other than that need a taxi or the train from opposite the hotel but they stop at 6.30pm. Visit Porto Rotondo. It’s fabulous.
