I like that I was close to public transport (Tram at Lycée Kléber) to get to and from the Christmas Markets (of which there were 5!). I always enjoy the free breakfast and the amenities (hygiene products and the carafe for water). It was a bonus to have dinner there too, but one of the dinner menu dishes was not to my liking. The kind waitress didn’t charge me for it since I took one bite!

My room was up in the attic overlooking the square , it was a good size and clean but the noise from the trams and the bed vibrating when they passed, made it less comfortable. Breakfast was ok - nothing outstanding. They also charge to leave luggage on the final day - first time that’s ever happened to me!

Highly recommend this place. It's quirky which we loved. Great location. But it's the staff that make this place a highlight. They are all friendly and helpful. We had a problem with hot water and they were incredibly responsive.
And a special mention to Anna (housekeeping manager). I lost a very sentimental piece of jewellery in the room and I don't know how or where but she managed to find it and I am SO grateful!
