Centre Island Cheap Holidays

You cannot check in any earlier than 4:00. The lobby and the 2nd floor area was full of people waiting to get in. We ended up sitting on the floor waiting till 4:00. Some people in our area called the hotel right before 4:00 and were told they would have to wait no early check in. So, 4:00 arrives and the lobby area is packed with people waiting to check in. Finally, 25 minutes later was given my keys. We had 4 people in our room and were told only 3 towels and 2 facecloths and hand towels available. If we wanted more we would have to come downstairs or call for more. This made no sense to me. Staff were very nice as they had to deal with unhappy people which was not their fault. I will not be coming back to this hotel.

Everything was amazing

Great size for our family of 5. Walk to CN Tower, Rogers Centre etc was about 30 mins, with 3 teenagers. Quiet area, very safe. The apartment was clean, and had all the facilities you would expect and the building was secure. The host was helpful, and effeicent. Overall a great experience.

Services was subpar, the manager was really rude and not accommodating at all. Housekeeping was HORRIBLE never fulfilled request, left our room door open and unlocked after the came in. And one day just came in empty or trash and that was it. Very underwhelming would not recommend or ever stay here again.

New hotel in Toronto entertainment district. Conveniently located to lots of restaurants, entertainment venues and subway. Good breakfast buffet at the property. Room was comfortable and kept clean and staff friendly. There were a few issues (that might be associated with a new property). We had to mightily yank the room door shut to get the door to lock, for example (which was surprising for a brand new hotel). Also, the elevators didn’t seem to have sufficient capacity for their busiest time of day (9 am). The TV remote was difficult to use. It was little details like these that caused me to rate it as good rather than excellent.

I like the Sandman but I must admit that the small kitchen section always seems to need a bit of repairs. This time it was the door of a cabinet which was missing a handle. The last time it was the fridge.

We enjoyed our stay.. we felt safe and everything that we need was provided. Budget friendly also.. we had a great vacation at Niagara Falls :)
