An old-school experience in a rich historic city!

I reserved a room with a Venice view, and I'm glad I did. The room was large, with a glass partition between the shower and the bedroom. With the large window beyond, it made the mood quite special. Everything was lovely and clean, but... the mattress was terrible--memory foam so lumpy, it should have been replaced long ago, along with the four pillows that, conversely, were like rocks. I did not sleep well. If the bed had been comfortable, I would have loved everything about this hotel. I had a good dinner in the dining room, and in the morning, a nice, full breakfast. The staff were gracias, and the lobby was lovely. I especially appreciated the shuttle bus (8€) to the airport, making it easy to relax the evening and morning before my flight.

Stayed overnight before flying back to Canada. Good hotel located right beside a rail station and with a free airport shuttle - a rarity in the Venice area. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and the morning breakfast was fantastic!

The Molino Stucky is an iconic building with a famous history. It has been superbly converted in to a luxury hotel whilst retaining the original architectural design. The pool is fantastic and such a bonus. The staff are friendly and it is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of Venice; being situated on the Guiadecca.

The location was excellent, as it was close to the bus and train stations, so you didn't need to depend on water taxies or water buses. The main drawback was two high levels of steps -- difficult with suitcases. The staff was friendly.

These were the best pillows we’ve ever used at a hotel, rivalling our $200 pillows from home! Location is convenient to the airport and an easy bus ride into Venice, the blackout curtains worked well, and the AC kept us cool on a hot June night. It’s a no-frills location that was clean and met our needs.

No air conditioning. Older building, but close to everything. Good breakfast.
