Northern Plains Cheap Holidays

It was an ok place to stay and we did not have any problems. But it was not our favorite location. Staff were friendly, but those at the restaurant were often more focused on the FIFA game and slower to respond to request (water cups were often empty and took awhile for someone to come so we could pay for the meal). The room was nice and we enjoyed the personal hot tub in the back. The ac was working and was able to keep things cool, but for some reason it always stayed a little humid in the room, which made it hard for our swimsuits to dry. Overall, nice stay but not one of our favorites.

The rooms were excellent. The breakfast was delicious and plenty full. The staff was helpful courteous and friendly.

The main pool was lively and perfect for a dip or for the kids to play. The hot springs were phenomenal. We went several times a day and it was never too crowded but there was always someone to chat with. Staff was super friendly and generally helpful. We weren’t crazy about the breakfast buffet - but it’s hard to maintain freshness in climates like this and really it’s a matter of taste. The room was great, my daughter loved the plants in the bathroom! My only issue there was no long hanging area for dresses and hardly any space to put clothing (three small drawers). The property was absolutely beautiful and there was always some sort of wildlife to see. We would definitely go back.

Property and staff were incredible. Kids experienced so much at the farm. View of the volcano is like nothing else. Restaurant so accommodating with my daughter's food allergies. Sloths right outside our bungalow.

This was our first stop in our 10 day trip and we loved almost everything about this hotel. The service was outstanding, the aesthetic of the property was impeccable, and our room was divine. The only thing I would criticize would be the prices of the food available. We ordered ribs for lunch which cost $33 and they gave us 2 ribs which were smaller than my 9 year old son's fist. We ended up eating in town most of the nights there. Their complementary breakfast was delicious though.
