France Cheap Holidays

Perfect for our one night stay before Disney. Reception staff were very helpful and polite. RER is facing the hotel, so we got into Paris very easily. Also a 5 minute walk from the main shopping centre. Would absolutely recommend

The room was run down in the fact that the spare cover was in a ripped duvet bag with no extra pillows. The light switches were confusing as some did nothing but trip the electric switches. The heater didn’t work so we used the towel rail and quilts to heat ourselves up. The dishwasher was missing rollers so the top shelf so was broken and pretty much unusable. The fridge wouldn’t close properly and the toilet roll holder was also completely broken. A lift also broken the first day in and the information in the lift was to put the rubbish into the disposal room before leaving but that was all the way in the basement with no signage. There were quite big stains on the floors and sofa. The information for the room/ amenities were pretty much none existent. Luckily we didn’t spend much time in the room so it was all in all okay for a few nights.

I've stayed at the Campanile before, usually in charge of a school group, but this was my first time visiting on my own. The breakfast was great - plentiful with lots of choice between hot and cold options. I had no problem getting seated, although both mornings I got caught up behind very large groups! This isn't a complaint at all (usually it's me leading the groups of teenagers!), but it would be really helpful if groups could be directed to stand to one side while waiting to be seated together so individual guests can pass through. As a solo traveler, I wasn't sure whether to go ahead or wait behind them, and as a group leader, it would also be great to know for future visits so I can direct my own group. The room was clean and the shower was really lovely. The main downside was the bus service. I wanted to reach the park early, but buses didn't start until around 8:30 am. Since this hotel is the last stop on the route, the first bus on both mornings was already packed - only about one person managed to board from our stop. In the evening, the return buses were incredibly crowded with a lot of rushing and pushing due to their infrequent schedule.
