Excellent location with private entrance to Victoria Station. Historic building and common areas and our room were well maintained. Our room was upgraded and was very nice… Carpet and paint immaculate. The Soak restaurant was very nice and quite the place to be. The staff, especially David, were very friendly and helpful. We did not have an opportunity to try the breakfast buffet that evidently is quite nice. This hotel worked very well for us for its unique location. Only a quick Uber ride to every place we needed to go.

Room was small but clean enough. The big problem with us was the stairs and no lift. We were at the top of the hotel and quite a few flights of stairs
. We are in our 70s and had two suitcases about 45lbs each. Ended up leaving them in the car and just taking what we needed from them for the night. We are from Canada and I understand a lot of hotels in Britain are like that.
