We had a really pleasant stay at Dorint Potsdam. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the reception, which immediately set a positive tone. The hotel is very clean, and our room was spotless and comfortable. You can really feel that everything is well taken care of. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and very tasty options to start the day. What stood out the most was the staff. Everyone was professional, friendly, and always smiling, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The pool area was also very nice and clean, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

The good: I really like the location. The room was a really nice size, clean and comfortable. I asked for extra pillows and received them. The not so good: The heating could not be controlled, it was way too hot. I was greeted once on entering the hotel. Even when the desk was not busy there was no salutation and the staff there came across as unwelcoming. Slow check out. I contacted the hotel for an earlier check in before I went but nobody got back to me. My flight was early and they stood by the 3 pm time even though others arrived after me and got checked in. I waited from 10:30 until 3. A smile would have been great.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms, staff and amenities are all First Rate. And the view from our room overlooking the Zoo was unbelievable. Who wakes up with Kangaroos running around just outside their window? Our only caution is it is a bit remote, far from public transit and walking through the pitch black Tiergarten at night is not an option.
