This hotel is what it is .. budget property on the edge of town. Rooms are functional and small. There is a bar and restaurant on site - don’t pay the ridiculous amount they want for breakfast.
The challenge is that it seems to be understaffed - we had to wait a long time with no one around for check in - and staff were surly and unhelpful.

We booked an ‘arty’ room, really comfy bed and nice & quiet.
Secure overnight parking, ideal stop off point from France to UK.
A little out of town but if it’s just a rest stop you need then it’s ideal.
Really nice bar area, super dog friendly & nice food served in the restaurant (opens at 7pm and food isn’t available before that, although the lady behind the bar kindly heated us up a pizza as we were ravenous!)
The service in the restaurant was slow, an hour’s wait between starters & mains, not ideal and it wasn’t just us. All staff really nice though.
We’d definitely stay again.

Rooms were below average and need major updating. Very very basic hotel. Staff was very nice and cooperative. No elevator. AC doesn't work, no air at night either, very uncomfortable and hot.
