9/10 Wonderful! (1,021 reviews)
Room was perfectly maintained, with daily cleanups and changes of towels and bathroom items.
One of the items which most hotels do not offer any longer is the fact that they provide slippers for walking inside the room. Very useful and convenient to avoid walking in shoes inside the room and bathroom (good hygiene approach).
Staff were very friendly. And here is one exceptional proof of it: when we left hotel and went to airport, I realized I forgot my mobile phone in the taxi. In panic, I called the hotel from the airport and they were able to locate the taxi driver, bring him back and return the mobile before our flight out of Zagreb!
Location was perfect, in the middle of city. Very convenient or walking.
We even managed to walk from hotel to Croatian National Theatre (HNK) to watch a ballet one evening.

9.4/10 Exceptional! (1,002 reviews)
A wonderful hotel for a stay by the port of Dubrovnik. (We had done a 2 night stay in old town earlier and that was nice to be able to walk the walls, see the sights, etc but jam packed with cruise boat day trippers and I found it all too much!) As we were catching a catamaran to Korkula the next day we chose The Berkeley Hotel for an overnight and so glad we did. Lovely clean modern stylish place. Friendly and competent staff. Wandered the port and had a quiet dinner. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you Berkeley!
