Disappointed in the downgrade of class of this hotel over the years. From the first impression of masses of people and children on the steps trading some sort of sport cards that you have to climb over and weave through to the very worn and uncomfortable beds to the peeling wallpaper, it is less than pleasurable to stay here anymore. It used to have such a luxurious feel to it. Now it rates mid among 2-3 star hotels. The room was so hot and failed to cool to a tolerable temp overnight. The bathrooms were in dire need of upgrades. The phone was so staticky when we called the front desk. I don’t think I would come back again.

The Belgrade city Hotel was terrific. Friendly staff, beautiful old building and centrally located. The included breakfast was excellent with a mix of meats, eggs, breads and pastries. The restaurant has excellent dinners reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again.
