(1,919 reviews) Let’s start with the not so good. It took over an hour from the time we got to the hotel to get checked in and shown to our room. We did notice as we finally got checked in that we got a different colored wristband than everyone in front of us but the person checking us in did not make any mention of this. We finally get checked in and then we have someone come over and ask us if we are interested in attending one of their Elite Status 90 minute presentations. We explained that we were only there for a few days and were not interested. Like a used car salesman this did NOT deter him at all and persisted to hound us about going to a presentation. They did offer some good incentives go, but like I stated we were not interested. My personal opinion on this is they should send an email out with n advance to see if people are interested rather than trying to pressure them to go upon arrival. Finally after this I step into the bar where I see my favorite drink Jameson and was told that I need to purchase a premium drink package upgrade which I was never offered at check-in and at this point was not going to purchase so loss to the resort. Next get to the room. The room I had chosen in the photo was apparently the updated suite, not the same room I got but the room was very nice. I did leave a review on Expedia about the check-in process a couple of days later when I checked my email and am happy to report they sent an assistant manager up to speak to me shortly after.
