Location, location, location. Right next to Kyoto Station giving you easy luggage transfer and access to any train or subway you could want.
Complementary water, tea, and coffee in the room. Wonderful large step-in shower/tub wet room. And a toilet you'll want to take home with you.
The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive.
We did not use the restaurants with all the unique cultural offerings a walk or ride away.
