(189 reviews) Will be nice if the hotel can think about what a new hotel guest will be going through. They will usually drive up to the hotel and look for parking. Then they will look into how to check-in and how to get to their room. It will be nice to mention in the welcome text to fill out the registration and the credit card authorization, AND also mention if we have a vehicle, what shall we do. Also will be helpful if the text will let us know the office in the building will be closed on Saturdays (and Sundays?) We were trying to figure all these out while carrying our luggages under strong winds, lucky it didn't rain. Will also be helpful to text us that we need to submit those 2 forms, then we will receive our gate and door codes. Restroom didn't smell fresh. Other than the aforementioned, the stay was good. The bed was average. My only negative comments are related to the unusually excessive daily damage deposit that I wasn’t expecting - big upfront unexpected expense! Also there was no bus cart for me to take groceries up to my room - but the bellmen would do it for a set fee. The pool was lovely, but closed at 7pm, which seemed early to me for summer. (79 reviews) I complained with the manager of the hotel and housekeeping for the poor management of my request to clean my room after the toilet got clogged. 9 am I requested to have the room clean (while we are out of the hotel) but returned to the hotel at around 2PM and the room was not cleaned yet. I called like 4 times and everytime I called, I was told that the cleaner is on its way (1st call was told it will only take 15-20 minutes) and took about an hour until after I complained that the cleaner arrived. When I spoke with another housekeeper on line and the manager I was told that all my earlier calls were not recorded (which explained why the room was not cleaned and the follow up cleaner never arrived). Its very frustrating. (186 reviews) When searching for a hotel we selected the Palazzo Nainer because of the central location and the reviews from previous guests. This hotel is a great Boutique property that the staff make it outstanding! From Carmen at the front desk allowing our early check in when our rooms were ready and suggesting the tastiest ( and warning of the worst) restaurants. Hajji from the restaurant greeting us with a cappuccino and positive beginning to every day, until the our last day when Madeleine took over with a great personality and making sure the buffet had a good variety. We were able to start our day meeting our tour groups at the Piazza del Popolo or grabbing a taxi within a few steps by the twin churches in the event of a long distance meeting place. There also is a terminal across the piazza and through the Porta del Popolo. The bed was comfortable, smart television with streaming options, and each room has unique features and designed uniquely for each of the room classes. Our room type was the Deluxe Room.
