Brantôme en Périgord Adventure Holidays

As a lone ,older, female traveler I must say that the staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and considering that I spoke very little French. They could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious, very clean , comfortable and extremely quiet. The breakfast facilities were adequate and there was plenty of variety. Again the staff were very attentive and friendly. I can recommend Hotel Vatel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Splendid hotel and well located in old city. The staff were exceptional. Always very friendly and helpful. The English concierge ( who spoke fluent French ) gave us some great tips on nearby restaurants and recommended a wonderful wine tour to the left and right bank which was so informative and personal. Money well spent !! I would highly recommend this hotel in such a vibrant and beautiful city. ✅✅

Great location in old city. Terrific amenities including varied breakfast and courteous staff.

No estaba muy clara como llenar las botellas de agua. La cama se hundia de lado. Todo lo demas muy bien, muy bien ubicado y personal muy amable. Muy limpio.

Rooms were lovely. Bathrooms were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious but very expensive. Staff very nice. Location a little off the beaten path so it was nice and quiet. 10+ minute walk to get to good streets and transit but overall an easy walk. Very safe.

Location, atmosphere, room & staff excellent. Only minor point that the aircon did not work. It was unseasonably warm when we stayed but could have done with the room being cooler to sleep. Would stay again. Nick

AC was not working, was very hot in the room despite following directions from staff on how to adjust it. Everything else was good, location is a bit sketchy sometimes at night but besides that, it’s a nice up and coming spot.
