Very interesting boutique lodging. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location close enough to historic district but far away from the main tourist nonsense. We would highly recommend.

We had all our breakfasts there and you would find plenty of fresh fruits , cheeses, pastries and hot food, Dinner was excellent and they had a great wine list. What makes them truly special is their staff. They always greet you with a smile and are eager to help you organize your excursions. Best massage I had in a long time. Ask for Maya. The hotel manager was also very responsive to our needs. They have construction next to it and they were transparent about it before our arrival Perfect setup. Best sunrise and sunset! 10 minutes from Lagos, free parking. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return if I come back in the Algarve.

Wonderful hotel, would definitely recommend and stay again! I got a tour of the facilities as soon as I arrived which I loved as it meant I didn’t have to discover things independently and wonder how things worked. The room was gorgeous, just bear in mind the toilet and shower share the same door, I didn’t mind as I was travelling solo. The food was delicious! Everything I ate tasted good from the breakfast to the lunch to the dinner, everything was tasty! The only room for improvement is the WiFi, at times it would drop if I went from my room to the pool for example but it came back minutes after so not the end of the world. I loved staying here so much and would definitely stay here again if coming to Portugal

We absolutely loved our stay at Verdelago and would happily return. The resort is beautiful, the staff were wonderful throughout, and the restaurant team in particular were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and really made the stay feel special. Honestly, the only things missing for us were a spa and a heated pool. Add those and it would be pretty much perfect! We had such a lovely time and would definitely stay again.

Great location and the room we had had a fantastic sea view. The property could do with a refurbishment and the food from the roof terrace wasn’t great, although my friend enjoyed hers.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Staff were very friendly. Room (Queen) had a small fridge and coffee machine. Room was lovely. Nice touches like beach towels and umbrellas were well appreciated. Roof terrace was also very nice for a relaxing drink at end of day.
