This was not a fun or great experience! I booked this room for me and my wife 1 year wedding anniversary and all the things I was promised and told that would happen did not happen. Then when I made them aware what didn’t happen I was promised again it would after we returned from dinner and it still was not. I wanted to surprise my wife and we both were highly disappointed!!

Great little natural spot with lake and hiking trails in middle of DFW concrete jungle. Convenient access to hwys to boot

I’m in love with this hotel ! The entire staff was warm, welcoming and the interior is elegant and beautiful. The dark wood paneled walls and bar with large overstuffed furniture makes for a comfortable gathering place The large outdoor pool area includes lounge chairs, towels, cabanas and full service food and drinks. The staff is top notch and very friendly The coffee shop, inside the hotel, was our daily go to for our coffee’s fruit and croissants The staff is fast and friendly Thank you to the staff that kept our room clean and tidy and thank you to Dan at the front desk for telling me about the history of this very special hotel We hope to see you again next year Susan & Guy C

I was advised that I had late checkout. When I attempted to enter the room prior to my late checkout time (after being at the pool) they told me I had to show identification(as I’m standing there in my bathing suit with only my towel and keycard). I obviously had no purse with me. Very annoying and zero responsibility for locking me out of the room. Otherwise, the room and Library Bar were impeccable.
