Beautiful property, stylish and comfortable rooms, gorgeous views and the amenities were great. Piano player in the evening was a highlight and so was the beach. Highly recommend.

Food is amazing. First class food and staff

The rooms are nicely appointed although I had some mild issues with the plumbing at first. I am not a fan of half showers, but that is common there, especially in older properties. The one caution in the bathroom is the height of the tub above the floor...it can be a bit dangerous as the floor appears to be a couple inches lower than the tub bottom...just a small warning in my particular room. Lobby is lovely. Breakfast is very pleasant and the staff works hard to make it so. The air conditioning is slow to get cool, so extra steps like closing the blinds and and sealing off the bathroom was needed as the bath had a sun filled window. Elevator is quite small but works well. Steps are open and easily used. the only terrace is at the top of the hotel. Not particularly useful. No bar, No view. Local transport to their other hotel on Paraggi beach is excellent. Clean up staff are up to the task. Location is fine...short walk to the harbor at Portofino. Nice tv and room amenities. For the rate I might have expected a bit more than provided, but overall a very nice hotel in a lovely little part of Italy.

this property was amazing …water access, gym , easy access to cinque Terra…. great reastaurants and no crowds in rapallo …. and play tennis no english needed ! the breakfast was the big disappointment! we stayed at all 5 stars in Rome, Florence, Asissi and rapallo… all had amazing breakfast except this hotel ….its older , but no excuse to be the best … you must look what other hotels serve …. canned fruit is not acceptable
