Amazing staff! It was our anniversary during our stay and when we arrived we had a bottle of champagne on ice in our room as well as a fruit and chocolate platter which was so lovely!
There was however water leaking from the toilet so we informed the staff - They said the maintenance guy had finished his shift for the day but said there was another room available which had a balcony if we were happy to switch. We moved rooms and this was much bigger! Very happy with the service from staff and lovely boutique hotel with a great breakfast selection!

A beautiful property that is a farm, vineyard and orchard. Everything we ate was delicious and the Carnivore dinner at the Old Bakery is a must. Do as many activities, that are included with your stay. Ask about their sister property that is a 18th century farm as well as the mountain pool. The farm/garden tour were very informative and the water buffalo outing is a must.

Absolutely spectacular — our favorite stay in South Africa!
This has been by far the most spectacular place we stayed during our trip to South Africa. The customer service was incredible — every member of the team at Boschendal Farms made us feel so welcome.
Our kids loved the day camps at the Tree House. Andrea, the kids’ club director, is phenomenal. Our children couldn’t wait to go back each day! She taught them about farming, composting, how to pick fruit, and even led them on hikes. They had cooking lessons, horse riding, and so many hands-on experiences.
We couldn’t have asked for a better family experience. Huge thanks to the entire Boschendal team — you made this unforgettable!
