Room suffered from a damp smell and poor ventilation which required leaving windows open.

We were blown away by this beautiful Estate! We were given the most lovely room right in front of the pond. Lots of birds and ducks to watch all evening and morning and beautiful grounds to walk around. The pool was delightful for swimming and our room was huge and bed so comfortable! Staff was totally fabulous. We wish we could have stayed here for longer than one night, but it was a perfect last night to our trip to South Africa and just 30 minutes to get to the airport to fly back home.

This was absolutely a necessary and amazing experience! Skip Cape Town and come straight here first. It was by accident that we did, but clearly by grace and spirit. We were led here because this is where we were supposed to be. The breakfast amazing. Dinner amazing. Staff amazing! Very hospitable and geared towards making you feel like family in at all.
