(1,002 reviews) Hotel very modern and when we noted to Reception that the bath was too high to climb into and had no safety rails we were moved immediately. Thankyou Amin for your help. My primary gripe was that there was a girls hockey team plus trainers/officials staying at the same time and they made breakfast time a nightmare. They took over the dining room with all their gear and did not vacate once their meal was over but stopped other guests(including one lady with a wheelchair) getting tables. and access to eating facilities. The officials were as bad on their iPads It completely spoiled our breakfast and the staff seemed unable to cope with it. We know that there are Conference facilities at the hotel so why couldn’t they have vacated there? I realise that in this financial climate that no hotel chain is going to refuse a large booking but surely the management should have checked this situation and issued guidance to the waiting staff because certainly none of the officials who travelled with this team made any effort to take command of a situation they had created.Plus the hotel is further out than I would have liked The walk to the city is along a busy main road and the bus which Reception had advised us to take still had not arrived after 40 minutes. I would not have chosen to walk back that way late at night so we took taxis. Would choose a more central hotel if I ever returned to Malaga. (354 reviews) Arrived very late - found it difficult to find entrance in the dark but once I did Receptionist let me in and was very helpful. Enjoyed my stay. Quiet due to time of year. Staff friendly. Pools looked great but didn't get to have a swim as only available from 10am and I was up and out early. Poolside bar and restaurant available at set times- didn't use this. Parking on site was 5 euros a night but safe to park outside on road so did that. Apartment very private with own patio and garden area to relax in. Quite spooky returning late at night as so quiet and no lights in apartment block. Free Wifi. Link to messaging service with Reception but none of my enquiries were ever answered so easier to just walk to reception and ask! Easy access to main road and short drive to nearest beach - beach in Manilva itself ( Dequesa) was excellent and nice and quiet too. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay here again. (728 reviews) This hotel is on a motorway - beach side. There are no bars or cafe/resturants within walking distance. We spent 50 euros a day in taxis and had to wait well over an hr sometimes for a taxi at busy times. The English breakfast was cold. And snake bar food was dreadful! Some of the staff were charming. I hate to give a bad review but we were mislead on booking. We thought we were in walking distance to estapona beach but that takes well over an hr to walk. If you don’t have a car I don’t think this is the hotel to book.
