Service is the issue… Late afternoon, early evening room cleaning was inconvenient. Lack of towels to shower more than once per day, missing hand soaps and lotion. No turn down service, apparently you have to request it daily? Reception was curt and I don’t recall more than 10 words on behalf of the team. Enquired with the front desk about the service issues and we were told the hotel is at capacity. Okay… So you’re telling me you have to be slow to ensure 5 star service? Again, a brief explanation that made no sense to me. The pool was great but the service was even worse. Dirty beds that required guests to clear if they wanted to use. Cleaning drinks and 4 wet towels should not be the guests responsibility. The bartender was on her phone the entire time and never checked on us during our 3 times visiting the pool, it was not due to being busy. Design is great, location is convenient but the service standards are embarrassing. I wish them the best and I hope they turn it around.
